Honey's Info...

I am already spayed, purebred, and up to date with shots.

Honey's Story...
Honey is a 6 year old purebred Wheaton Terrier that was used as a breeding dog. She has been retired and now we are rehoming her for the breeder so she can enjoy a life of being a companion dog now. Honey has a good amount of energy still for her age and craves attention. She will need some work in learning how to transition to being a house dog instead of only living in a kennel. She has so much love to give though, so please consider her for your home.

Honey is already spayed, current on her vaccinations, tested negative for heartworms, and on heartworm preventative. Just before we received her she injured one of her feet and now that she has had proper medical attention it is healing up well. Also, unfortunate the breeder shaved her down right before we got her, so she doesn't currently have her beautiful coat. She will grow out though and return to the beautiful girl that she really is. She weighs 35 pounds and is full grown. (AE)

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Honey, a Hagerstown Wheaten Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Wheaten Terrier for sale in Hagerstown, or seeking a Wheaten Terrier dog from a breeder in Hagerstown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hagerstown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hagerstown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Wheaten Terrier breeders who help with Wheaten Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hagerstown paves the way for another one to be saved.
