Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi my name is Hudson, and I am a one year old Boxer / Shepherd mix. I have caramel fur, a lean body, an adorable face with a short, black snout, and super skinny legs. My hind legs look just like those you'd find on a German Shepherd Dog. I must be one cool mix of breeds!
I'm a real sweetheart. I may seem a bit energetic in my cage, but that's just the stress from living in the shelter. Once I'm outside, I'm really a wonderful dog. It looks like my previous owner didn't spend much time walking me, because I'm still not quite sure what to do when I'm out strolling. I tend to zig zag a little, but once I get going, I walk like a champ! I bet with a little practice, I'll be the best canine walking companion around!
I'm kind of gawky and awkward at times -- I think I need to grow into my body a bit more! -- but I'm always sweet and affectionate. I'm a friendly, outgoing guy who thrives in the company of my human friends. One of my new human pals said this about me:
"When I first met Hudson, I didn't know what to make of him. He was so happy to be outside that he wasn't very focused on me. But after just a few minutes, this incredibly warm and loving dog emerged. He's awesome! He settled down considerably and was just the most fun to be around. I walked Hudson with another male dog, and he was in doggie heaven! He loved being around the other dog, and he kept trying to play with him. He bowed and wiggled ... it was hysterical! Hudson would make a great addition to a home that already has a dog. He doesn't leash bite and barely jumps, so with just a little bit of training, this overgrown puppy will be a wonderful pet for someone!"

Because I can be a bit silly at times, my human friends at the shelter think I'd do best in a home without very young children, who may be overwhelmed by my goofiness. But older kids and adults would be perfect for me! I'm a fun loving, warm guy who will complete a family of any size! I'm social toward everyone I meet -- oh boy, I love meeting new human people! -- and I don't have a mean bone anywhere in my body. I told you ... I'm a great dog! :-)
Like my human buddy said, I seem to be quite at ease around other dogs. If you already have a dog at home, why not bring him or her along when you come to visit me? That would be so much fun!
