My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hamburgler is a beautiful male Corso mix (our best guess). Ham (or Hambone as staff calls him) came into the shelter absolutely terrified. He has grown comfortable with the staff during his stray hold. Ham has made such progress that we would love to see him with a rescue that can help him continue his journey! Unfortunately, Ham cannot stay in the kennel much longer as his hold is up and space is tight. Ham is about 2 years old. He is very sweet and mushy once you get past his initial shyness and nerves. He loves to play outside and acts like a big squishy puppy. Ham has shown no signs of dog or food aggression. He is uncomfortable with a lot of handling around his neck. He arrived with a chain around his neck- normally this would be removed but as it wasn't causing him discomfort and made handling in the kennel situation easier, we left it for the time being.
