My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

MIRACLE is so awesomely cute that she is breathtaking. She has the look of a Turkish Angora without being a bonafide Angora. She is affectionate on her own terms, constantly head-butting her human when given food, prancing around in delight and purring at the pleasure of experiencing the human bond. She gets along wonderfully with other cats, and has perfect house manners. She should be adopted as a bonded pair with her brother Angel.

Her main appeal, though, has to be her curious nature and her irrepressible love of play. She will play with toys on her own. She will play with interactive toys and outrun any other cat in the chase. She bursts into a purr, in fact, not only when she plays herself, but when she just sees other cats playing. She is a joyous force of nature, and untamed nature in some respects: She has learned from prior mishandling not to let herself be picked up. And she often shies away from touch, except when food is at hand. She should respond to proper re-training if a gentle, patient, consistent method is offered to her by someone she can come to love and trust. With that final measure of trust will come the freedom to show love in all ways and at all times.

Miracle is obviously not to be a family pet with children. She requires a quiet household with people who can devote their love and attention and gradually help her overcome her scary history. Someone in her past admired her only for her beauty and carelessly abused her trust. Now she needs someone to love her for who she is, and she will give back in like measure what she receives.
