Pearl's Story...
Meet Pearl. She's a 7 month old, 41 pound lab / pit bull mix. Pearl is up to date with vaccinations and heartworm negative. She will be spayed and microchipped for her new family. Pearl loves all people, but hasn't been around babies yet - however, she's still a pup so she should be okay with them. She's also good with all dogs and cats. Pearl knows basic obedience commands, is housebroken, leash and crate trained. Pearl's an extremely smart girl. She knows sit, down & she's learning wait & to fetch. She LOVES water and her kiddie pool & balls are her favorite toys. She likes to "talk". She's a huge snuggle bug when she's finally wore out! If you're looking for sweet, fun young girl, Pearl is the girl for you!

Rehome Fee: $100.00

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Pearl, a Baton Rouge Pit Bull Terrier/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) for sale in Baton Rouge, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) puppy from a breeder in Baton Rouge.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Baton Rouge already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Baton Rouge breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Baton Rouge paves the way for another one to be saved.
