Meet Platte! She is approximately 12 weeks old and around 18-20 pounds. She had a really rough start in life. She was born outside and was kept in very bad conditions prior to being brought into our rescue. Platte and her sister Cache (also listed) and now happy, healthy and each looking for her forever family!

Platte is extremely sweet and smart, she is learning how to sit and is very food motivated which will make training a lot easier. She is very mellow for a puppy and loves to be around other dogs and people. She has started house training and is picking up on it very quickly however she still does have some accidents.

If you would like to give this sweet girl a home, please begin by filling out our online adoption application at www.caninecandor.com/adoption-application.html.

Platte's adoption fee is $250. She is microchipped, up to date on vaccines, and will be spayed prior to adoption or can be adopted and spayed later on a spay contract (we can discuss those details).

All of our dogs come with 30 days of free pet health insurance, a free one hour, in-home training session with a certified dog trainer, 3 days of free doggy daycare at Camp Bow Wow in Fort Collins and $5 off at J&T Feeds in Greeley.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Platte, a Greeley Pit Bull Terrier/Rottweiler puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier/Rottweiler for sale in Greeley, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier/Rottweiler puppy from a breeder in Greeley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Greeley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Greeley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier/Rottweiler breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier/Rottweiler rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Greeley paves the way for another one to be saved.
