Sierra was a surrender because her owner found her to be "too hyper" for small children. I found her to be a typical lab, not too pushy, doesn't overly jump when greeting. She walks okay on leash. She is a young dog and does need room to run or long walks for exercise. She does tend to be hyper (to get attention), but once you tell her what's right and wrong and what you expect from her, she will behave. She needs someone to give her the time and guidance and exercise she needs.

She will be altered and up to date on vaccination before she comes home with you.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sierra, a Tipton Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Tipton, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Tipton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tipton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tipton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tipton paves the way for another one to be saved.
