My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Cora has one absolutely adorable mug, and the personality to go with it. She and her littermates, Dora and Nora, look like they have the same mama (the lab part) but Cora looks like she's got a little something different and that, we think, is the Petit Basset Vendeen Griffon.

Around 8 weeks old right now, these girls will probably be on the smaller end of the large dog scale, or the larger end of the medium dog scale.

If you are interested in meeting and possibly adopting Cora or either of her littermates please go to our website, throwmeabonedogrescue.org, and complete/submit the application found under the resources tab.

All potential adopters are expected to complete an application and provide pictures of their yard, patio, and/or balcony making sure we can see the fence line and/or railing. Applications will be reviewed for approval before setting an appointment to come meet and possibly adopt the dog of interest. In addition, those who live in a rental property are expected to provide proof that they are allowed to have a dog where they live.

Each of our rescued dogs has been de-wormed, de-flea'd, is up to date on shots, is spayed/neutered, microchipped, and has been fully examined by a veterinarian. In addition, each adopted dog comes with a starter baggie of the food it has been eating, a few treats for training purposes, a rawhide chew, a leash & collar, and a folder containing pertinent records.
