My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sammy is a 6.5 year old, mahogany sable, male sheltie who weighs 28 lbs and is 16” tall. Sammy is a Velcro sheltie and enjoys following his foster mom wherever she goes. He gets along with other dogs and cats, and enjoys playing with toys. While his foster mom hasn’t seen Sammy with children, he had grandchildren who visited in his original home so he most likely could handle a new home with children.

Sammy wasn’t well socialized when he was small so he is not good with changes or meeting new people but he is getting better as he is worked with in his foster home. If you are looking for a loving boy to add to your family, Sammy might just be the one for you. With a little training and more work to learn about the big wide world, Sammy will make a wonderful companion for someone. Is that someone you?
