Scarlet's Story...
Meet Scarlet! What a beauty she is. Scarlet is about 2 years old and 50lbs. We are working on getting a little more weight on her so she will be a little heavier when she is finally settled. Scarlet is a wonderful girl. She is a great with kids and really just such a sweetie. She is a quiet girl, not a barker. She loves attention and affection. This girl is very much a people dog. She is loyal and will follow you everywhere. Scarlet is good with other dogs too. She is quite the social butterfly. She loves to go bye bye in the car or for walks. She is in the process of learning how to sit and heal. She also loves to sleep under the covers! How cute is that? Overall Scarlet is an ideal dog. She is a healthy girl too. Scarlet is up to date on shots, spayed, and microchipped. She is currently in Louisiana, but transport is available to the northeast at no additional fee. If you are interested, please email April at apr0227@msn.com.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Scarlet, a Portsmouth Doberman Pinscher dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Doberman Pinscher for sale in Portsmouth, or seeking a Doberman Pinscher dog from a breeder in Portsmouth.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portsmouth already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portsmouth breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Doberman Pinscher breeders who help with Doberman Pinscher rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portsmouth paves the way for another one to be saved.
