My story

Jefferson, here. Pleased to meet you! I’m just a young lad looking for a new home. I was adopted from MaxFund when I was a kitten, along with my friend Bandit. After about a year and a half of living in our own home, our person took us to an animal shelter, saying he had allergies or was moving. No one quite knows for sure. Luckily, that animal shelter called MaxFund and here we are again.

Although Bandit and I are good friends and we’d love to stay together, we could also be adopted separately.

I’m a quiet boy, a little shy at first, but very sweet and personable. When you first meet me, you’ll notice my beautiful, long shiny black fur. However, the next thing you’ll notice are my HUGE mitten paws. That’s right, I’m a polydactyl! I’m told that makes me very special.

I’m still young, so I love to play. Dancing after a feather wand is one of my favorite things to do. But, I’m also mature enough to know my manners, and I love to be calm and cozy in a comfortable lap. Being brushed is also on my list of favorite things.
