My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Clutch is a goofy, playful, happy-go-lucky one year old Landseer Newfoundland (possibly Saint Bernard mix). Clutch lived most of his life thus far living outside, before coming in to rescue and so he is just starting to learn how to walk on a leash (with a harness), not to jump, and other manners. Clutch plays well with dogs his size - he has a Great Pyrenees friend (seen in his YouTube video) and he lives with a Saint Bernard as well. Clutch also lives with children who are used to a giant puppy bounding around and Clutch would be fine with kids in a family with giant breed experience. Clutch has not met any small dogs or cats yet, and it's possible that they might not do well together since Clutch simply does not know his size yet. Clutch has a lot of energy and will need someone who can give him lots of exercise, play time, spend time with him on training and just show him how wonderful it is to be someone's companion (instead of an "outside dog"). If you're interested in adopting this irresistibly charming gentle giant, please start by filling out an adoption application at savethegiants.com.
