Tilly's Story...
I am a female Chinese Crested/Yorkie mix. I am about 1½ years old. I am spayed, current on shots, micro-chipped and on flea/heartworm prevention. My adoption is $150.

I have a genetic condition called “dry eye” where my right eye doesn’t produce enough tears. I am on eye drops once a day which might reverse the condition, at least a little over time. My eyelid used to turn in because of the dryness but the rescue had surgery done to correct that.

I was adopted out last year but had to be returned because my owner became very ill and could no longer keep me.

Please email for an application. A New Beginning Pet Rescue, Inc. only accepts cash. We do not have the ability to accept credit or debit cards and no longer accept checks. The pets are available to be seen at our adoption events on weekends at the Petsmart in Altamonte Springs on Saturday from 11-5 and Sunday from 12-5.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tilly, a Orlando Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier/Chinese Crested dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier/Chinese Crested for sale in Orlando, or seeking a Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier/Chinese Crested dog from a breeder in Orlando.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Orlando already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Orlando breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier/Chinese Crested breeders who help with Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier/Chinese Crested rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Orlando paves the way for another one to be saved.
