My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Monte is a 1 yr old poodle mix who was found abandoned in a rural area. A motorist stopped her car, pulled over and waited for him to come out of the woods. She put out water and after about 10 minutes she felt a nose touching her hand. Monte was matted to the skin and very severely underweight. Monte was brought to the shelter and Poodle Rescue of Vermont was called to help save him. PRVT began Monte's medical treatment immediately and after worming, a healthy diet and lots of love, Monte is ready for a new home. Monty is neutered and completely up to date with all of his medical. Monte is still very much a puppy, loves to play, run and explore. Monte does well with other dogs, he paid no mind to cats at the shelter. Monte loves all people and would love a family that could teach him about all the wonders our world has to offer. Monte is currently 41 lbs and still gaining, most likely another 5 to 7 lbs.
