My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Maggie or Mag pie as we call her is solid red from her nose to her tail. She is a very, very dominant female. She gets along "ok" with the other dachshunds here but would really rather be an only one. She is very grumpy at first meeting but melted after a bit in an 8 year old girls arms giving her kisses. I do not recommend young children around her until they understand that they cannot pull on her and grab at her back side. Once she knows and trusts you she is putty in your hand. She was picked up as a stray and then got loose. she spent several days under a shed until they had to trap her to get her out. So she is a little scared and has a dislike of crates and cages. She is spayed, current on all shots, H.W. negative and on preventative and all blood work negative.
