Biscotti's Story...
Biscotti was an indoor/outdoor cat left behind with a litter of kittens when her family moved. The family of strays was taken in by a concerned neighbor and the kittens now have new homes. Now it's momma's turn.

Biscotti was a very young mother; she still looks like a kitten herself. She is probably about 1 year old and is a petite 7 lbs. She has a beautiful coat, a mix of black, white and brown speckles, and a fluffy, speckled tail. Biscotti's caretaker says she is very sweet and affectionate. She loves to be loved and loves to play.

She will likely do well either in a home of her own or one shared with other non-aggressive cats. She is litter box trained and eats both dry and wet cat food.

Biscotti has been spayed and vaccinated and is ready to go to a loving home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Biscotti, a Castro Valley Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Castro Valley, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Castro Valley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Castro Valley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Castro Valley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Castro Valley paves the way for another one to be saved.
