This beautiful young lady is Shyla. She is 8 months old and weighs about 35 pounds. We think she is a Lab mix. Shyla was almost hit by a truck on a busy highway. She was wandering back and forth across the road as if searching for something. A passer by stopped and picked her up. She was skin and bones with a big sore on her back. The nice lady nursed her back to good health and wants to get her a forever home. Shyla walks on leash and enjoys her walks very much! She has not met a doggie that she did not want to play with. She is good with cats too. Shyla really likes kids and is very good with them. On her daily walks she loves to go through town, meeting and playing with the kids in the neighborhood. She does tend to be shy with people when she first meets them. We think someone has been mean to her as she sometimes sinks down as if she think you are going to hurt her. She is getting much better with lots of TLC. Once she knows you will not hurt her, she is a total love bug! This sweet girl wants to be loved and a home where she will be safe. She is working on house training and doing very well, as if she has been in house before. She loves toys and to snuggle with you.
