Lady's Story...
Hi There! My name is Lady Lu. I’m a 7 month old American Pit Bull Terrier. My
foster mommy tells me I am about as sweet as they come…perhaps that’s why
I get so many kisses. I also get tons of treats. I always have to do something for
them, like sit, lie down, or leave it; but I absolutely love working for my treats.
I also really like my crate; it’s my own personal bedroom. I hardly ever have
any “accidents” in the house. If you take me for a walk, I like to stay by your
side…unless we see another dog or human, then I cannot help myself and just want
to say hello. I love making friends with people, children, dogs, and even cats. My
foster mommy says I should tell you that I am spayed, micro-chipped, and current
on all vaccinations and flea prevention. Would you be my forever friend?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lady, a Houston Pit Bull Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Houston, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier puppy from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
