My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Nina has been with Animal Helper since May 2011. She was found roaming after Greekfest. Her finders brought her to us after they could not locate her owners. Her paws were covered in blisters from walking on the hot pavement. She was heartworm negative and spayed. After the blisters healed, we still noticed something was off. Dr Hancocked diagnosed her with hip dysplasia. Luckily she was young enough she could have a TPO surgery. This surgery prevents all future arthritis to the hip. Since Nina had surgery she can now live a NORMAL life.

Nina is now ~ 3 years old. She got up to 58 lbs but has been on a diet and exercising a lot. She loves jogging next to the bicycle. Nina loves going for walks. NIna loves children. And absolutely loves snuggling in bed.

Nina has completely won over the hearts of all the Animal Helper volunteers. We do not understand why this sweet and smart girl, has not found her forever home yet, poor Nina has seen many foster siblings come and go, she is sad that she has not found her fur-ever family yet.
Nina is a fantastic dog, she is so sweet, loves to give kisses, and loves attention. She loves to go on runs and play in the yard. Nina is a fast learner, just spending the afternoon with on of our volunteers she caught on to shake, sit, and sit-up. Nina is a true heart-stopper when you see her in person, she is stunningly beautiful and has the personality to match.
Nina is both house and crate trained. She is heartworm negative, fecal negative, up to date on all vaccinations, spayed, and microchipped.
If you can give our sweet Nina the home she so deserves, please e-mail us at animalhelperneworleans@gmail.com for an adoption application.
