"BONNIE AND CLYDE" - SWEET BONDED PAIR NEED ADOPTER ASAP!!
Meet "Bonnie and Clyde" who are best buddies and are a very bonded pair. Bonnie is a black wire-haired terrier mix that is under 2yrs old and her pal Clyde is a light tan deer chihuahua that is about 1yr old, and both are under 10lbs.
Sadly their humans dumped them in a park in Bakersfield. Thankfully some nice people going for a run found them and called their rescue friend who was able to help save them. They ended up in boarding so they would not have to go to the shelter, until the rescue friend contacted us about this sweet pair to ask for our help. We were able to arrange to have them transported up to Norcal and get them into a temporary foster in Marin.
These little itty bitty ones are so adorable and so bonded! It is sweet to see how Bonnie is very "maternal" towards Clyde and grooms him and seems to look out for him. They are affectionate little doggies that love kisses. They enjoy regular daily exercise or playtime, and then they are very content to just bask in the sun or fall asleep together by the fire. They get along great with dogs big and small, and even have had birdie, kittie and other puppy buddies!
They have both been fixed, micro-chipped, and are up to date with shots. They are also crate and house-trained.
They have done well with their temporary foster and have shown they can fall in love with their humans very easily.
Now they are eagerly waiting for a forever home together, ideally with a nice fenced yard to play and perhaps another doggie pal to play with them.
This pair will fit in well as new members of a loving family that will shower them with affection, and help them feel safe and secure, as they adjust to their new home. We are hoping to find them a suitable adopter ASAP!
