Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Rascal has had a rough start and a sad story! He was abandoned in a neighborhood, where he roamed for weeks, too speedy to be caught by concerned neighbors. These same neighbors put out food and water every night, hoping to lure him in, but could never rescue him. They enjoyed watching him play in their yards, and witnessed him on several occasions herding the wild baby bunnies away from busy streets and out of danger. Rascal is very intelligent and he has a heart of gold! Well, one day the neighbors noticed that Rascal was hopping funny, wasn’t as fast, and didn’t seem right. They finally caught him and took him to the vet – where they discovered he had been shot. SHOT! Shot with a bullet! Oh poor Rascal, who would do such an awful thing to such a sweet creature?? Well, these wonderful, caring neighbors nursed him back to health and contacted us to see if we could help. Rascal is now at the Rabbit Center and has been back to the vet just to make sure he’s perfectly healthy, which he is. Rascal is a darling rabbit who needs a good, caring home. His heart of gold will melt YOUR heart.
