My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

There I was, being pushed to the side of the road by someone who did not want me. When the lady came over, I was hoping she would be good to me. She was! She got me into rescue in Louisiana. I was found to have chemical burns on my back which will not heal. I was found also to have a grade 3/4 heart murmur. There, in the rescue in Louisiana, I was fostered, vetted and then driven to RI by Little Paws 4 U, a licensed rescue. In RI, I was treated for Heartworm, which means I do not have it any more. I am getting happier by the day and am really a strong and courageous little one! I am around 8 months old and weigh only 5 pounds. I would love a family which is around in the day, to attend to my puppy needs. Older, respectful (only!) children are fine, as are other small, non-aggressive dogs. My fee of 385. covers vetting to date, spaying, Heartworm treatment, a Health Certificate travel to RI and I have a blanket and collar as well.
