When trying to create this bio for this little boy, I thought long and hard on how I would tell you his story so you, the potential adopter, could see how important it is to find him his forever home. This is not to say that all dogs that are looking for a home have any less of a need for one but this is to point out that Sparky is a very special dog who's story needs to be shared in order to find his most perfectly matched forever home. You see, his owner passed away and if you know a Schnauzer you know how earth shattering this can be. He is safe in our hands but in order for him to really come out of his shell, he needs to bond with another human quickly. He is seven years old and knew nothing more than his owners love and affection and when his owner died, he was sent to live with a family member who did not care for him the way he needed to be cared for. Than one brave person stood up for this baby and asked for help and this is where we entered. He gets along with other dogs, loves children and still wants to please his own human.
