Maddie's Story...
Hello, my name is Maddie and I am a 2 month old female Italian Greyhound mix. My mom is a 12 lb Italian Greyhound and we are not sure who my dad was but he must have been cute because my littermates and I are adorable!! My foster mom, Jean, says that I am a really sweet girl who loves to play and is always looking for a lap to cuddle in or a face to kiss. I have a really cute bark that I use to let my foster family know that we have new friends at the house that came to visit. Apply to make me your new best friend!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Maddie, a Walker Italian Greyhound puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Italian Greyhound for sale in Walker, or seeking a Italian Greyhound puppy from a breeder in Walker.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Walker already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Walker breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Italian Greyhound breeders who help with Italian Greyhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Walker paves the way for another one to be saved.
