LUANA's Story...
My name is Luana! I am a 7 week old GSD/Lab mix. I love to play..play..play but I also love to be held and give puppy kisses. My foster mom said I can't be adopted until Oct 11th something about getting another set of shots (yuk!). I will most likely be around 60-70lbs fully grown. I would really enjoy a family that wants to train me (as I am eager to please) as well as has a yard and another 4 legged brother or sister would be great too! I am currently being fostered in Redondo Beach, CA. Are you ready for some puppy kisses? You can obtain an application through our website at: www.hopeneheroes.com or email Lorna@hopenheroes.com. Adoption/donation fee and home inspection required.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

LUANA, a Torrance German Shepherd Dog/Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog/Labrador Retriever for sale in Torrance, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog/Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Torrance.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Torrance already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Torrance breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Torrance paves the way for another one to be saved.
