Parker's Story...
Hello new friends, my name is Parker! I am an affectionate two-year-old Domestic Shorthair mix. I have been told that I am a love-bug, because I adore attention and wont hesitate to curl up in your lap, or even on your shoulders! I love to be pet, especially around my ears and chin. I like being around other cats, so I would be a great addition to any feline friendly home that's looking for a new brother! I am neutered, dewormed, treated to prevent fleas & ticks and up to date with vaccinations. My adoption fee is $100 and I'll get one free exam at our vet's office, one free month of pet health insurance and a microchip. If you'd like to adopt me please call or visit...we are conveniently located in Sunset Park, Brooklyn near the D/R/N (36th Street) train and we're open every day from 11am to 7pm. I can't wait to meet you.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Parker, a Brooklyn Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Brooklyn, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Brooklyn.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Brooklyn already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Brooklyn breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Brooklyn paves the way for another one to be saved.
