Isaac was born on 6-1-12, he was purchased in 2012 for Christmas. The couple has 2 children, they didn't realize it's not so easy having a teacup Yorkie and small children. They worried that Isaac would get hurt and wanted to find him a home where he would be safe. At 3 pounds he does need an adult only home with no other dogs or dogs his size. Isaac loves to play but also enjoys the warm safety of being held. He is now neutered and up to date on all medical, since the pictures were taken he did see the groomer and we can now see his eyes! We will be putting new pictures up in a week or so but he will probably be adopted before we get a chance. Isaac is heart worm negative, on preventative and had a dental when he was neutered.
If you have trouble loading the on line application link please email for a copy and paste.
The first step in the adoption process is to fill out an online adoption application. You can find a copy of that application
here. We sometimes receive a lot of interest on an animal and can't always reply to each email in a timely manner. An application does not obligate you to adopt from us, but it does show that you are serious about the adoption process. Please remember we are all volunteers.
After you submit your application please allow a few days for a volunteer to review your application. During this time your vet reference will be checked and a volunteer with determine if it is the best match for you and the animal. Applications are not approved on a first come, first serve basis. We match up the best home for the animal, so even if the pet has other applications, this does not meet he/she will be adopted to that home.
Once your application has been approved a volunteer with contact you to set up a phone interview. This is the perfect time for you to ask any questions you have about the adoption process and the animal you are interested in.
