Taco is a super cute little guy who showed up in the pound in the nearby City of Mesa. He is male, about ten pounds, has tan and white fur, and is a Chihuahua possibly mixed with Terrier. He is crate trained and almost housebroken. He is a very sweet little dog, and although he can be shy for the first few seconds, loves to be held and petted. Taco has done fabulously with both adults and children. He gets along with the other dogs and should do just fine around cats.

Taco's adoption fee is $250 and includes his neuter, up-to-date basic vaccines, up-to-date rabies vaccine, and microchip. Please email for an application to adopt this sweet dog. Taco is currently in foster in Bothell, WA.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Taco - very quiet & sweet boy, a Kirkland Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Kirkland, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Kirkland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Kirkland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Kirkland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Kirkland paves the way for another one to be saved.
