Angus came to Critter Cavalry as a desperate plea. The small rural shelter he was in was closing for the week since the head guy was going on vacation. All the dogs in the shelter were being euthanized because the city had no funds, nor desire to have someone take over during that time. CCR took in two adult dogs that they felt had great temperaments. Angus was one of them. It turns out that Mr. Angus, the Basset Hound mix, is terrific!!! This two year old, 44 pound boy could be the most amicable creature on Earth. His demeanor to let the two little young foster boys dress him up, put a Batman mask on him, hug him, pull on him and pretty much love him close to death is exemplary. Angus just wants to be a part of your life and your family. This handsome and soulful guy is laidback and probably would have been a “Minister” by profession in a human life. He looks deep in your soul and he loves you unconditionally. He takes whatever life throws at him with grace and style and a calmness that is rare. He is happy, funny, confident and so worthy of the best family ever. Angus will be worth thousands if you ever put a price tag on his impact on your life. Hmmmmm….. maybe even millions.
