Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Miss Daisy is a red & white girl who is around 5 years old. She is a very affectionate, but timid, houndette who has had a difficult past. She will need a nice and quiet home with a family who can help her learn that humans will not hurt her again. She is wonderful with our 6 year old, but he is very good at understanding how to treat Daisy. She would probably do best with older children, as the volume and sudden movements of smaller children would frighten her. Daisy has a bad limp on her rear right leg from unknown causes, so only short walks for her. She has the cutest little hop when she runs in the yard! She loves her other foster brothers and sister, and has never tried to be the alpha. She is very vocal, but doesn't really howl or bark. She has more of a groan or moan when she lays down and gets comfy, and her preferred spot is someone's lap. Daisy will go limp basset when you try to put her in the crate, but she does fine once she is in. We put her crate in our room, and she sleeps through the night with no problem except the occasional groan! She is working on housetraining, rides well in a car, and walks fine on a leash. Daisy is a wonderful basset who truly deserves to be pampered for the rest of her life.
