Rascall COURTESY POST's Story...
Rascall is a COURTESY POST. DO NOT CONTACT JCAPL IF INTERESTED. SEE CONTACT INFORMATION BELOW. He is a very sweet and friendly male Boxer/Bulldog mix who is searching for his forever home. Growing up, he didn't have the best life. His original owners kept him locked up in a 10X10 kennel, and never took him out to play or for walks. His water was filthy and was only fed table scraps occasionally. So, as you can imagine, he would love a large fenced-in backyard (6ft preferred) so that he can run and play and enjoy being a dog! As his previous foster mom, I rescued him from that poor situation but unfortunately couldn't keep him and so I wound up having to take him to an animal shelter. Luckily, one of my friends adopted him! Unfortunately, her young daughter has developed a skin allergy to Rascall and so they cannot keep him permanently. So, together, we are trying to help Rascall find his forever home. Rascall is neutered, UTD on vaccines, and is HW positive (currently on Trifexis). He absolutely loves people and hates to be left alone. He will be a great dog for someone who truly understands about Separation Anxiety in dogs, has actual time to spend with him and not keep him cooped up in a crate or outside kennel. He thinks he's a lap dog despite his 70 lb. size, is leash-trained, and is good with kids and other dogs, but is not friendly with cats. If you are interested in giving Rascall a more permanent home, please email amberphoenix5@yahoo.com. Serious inquiries only please. To ensure he goes to a suitable home that will be a great fit for both him and the person(s), interviews and a home visit will be required. Thank you.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rascall COURTESY POST, a Smithfield Boxer/American Bulldog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer/American Bulldog for sale in Smithfield, or seeking a Boxer/American Bulldog dog from a breeder in Smithfield.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Smithfield already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Smithfield breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer/American Bulldog breeders who help with Boxer/American Bulldog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Smithfield paves the way for another one to be saved.
