Soho's Story...
This little cutie is Soho, born 7/28/2013 in his foster home. His mom, Brooklyn, is a 25 lb mix who looks like she could have some Shiba Inu or Shepherd in her. We think the 75 lb. black Lab who was brought into the shelter with her is the daddy so we think Soho will weigh somewhere between 45 and 60 lbs when fully grown. Soho is a sweet, happy-go-lucky puppy with a typical lab personality. He loves people and is a great cuddler. Soho likes to play with his siblings and the other dog in his foster home. He is making good progress on his housetraining, and he sleeps well in his crate. Soho seems like a smart puppy as he has mastered new things fairly quickly. He is a very sweet boy who will make a great addition to the right family. His adoption fee is $165 which includes age appropriate shots, neuter, and microchip.

For more information or to request an application, please contact his foster mom, Andrea, directly at foster.puppies@hotmail.com or 913-406-9840 (no texts please).

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Soho, a Overland Park Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Overland Park, or seeking a Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Overland Park.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Overland Park already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Overland Park breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Overland Park paves the way for another one to be saved.
