My name is Nanook, which means 'baby girl' in Eskimo. I am a 7 yr old Siberian Husky that is spayed, up to date on all my vaccinations and micro-chipped. I am an extremely loving girl and like lots of attention. I stay off your furniture (but I would love to snuggle with you in bed if you'll let me!) I am playful with other dogs my size but have to learn to be more gentle with the smaller dogs. I love toys so much too, so much in fact that I usually will steal them from the other dogs. As most Huskys....I need lots of exercise, like long walks!

I would like a controlled environment with a little discipline. One of my naughty habits is stealing food of the counters when no one is looking! I also get a little protective if other dogs are around my food, I prefer it all to myself. Of course, if I were a spoiled, only furkid, this wouldn't be an issue!

If interested in learning more about me or meeting me, please fill out the application below and the TLP volunteers will make sure it gets to my current owner!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Nanook, a Sheboygan Siberian Husky dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Siberian Husky for sale in Sheboygan, or seeking a Siberian Husky dog from a breeder in Sheboygan.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sheboygan already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sheboygan breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Siberian Husky breeders who help with Siberian Husky rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sheboygan paves the way for another one to be saved.
