UMA and her buddy THURMAN were dumped in a local park near Nashville, TN, where they sat by a telephone pole for 3 days waiting for their owners to come back. On day three, after seeing please on social network of the the abandoned dogs needing rescue, our founder stepped up in the nick of time as the area was hit with Flood warnings just 2hrs later. They were in a low lying area that was flooded later that evening. UMA is a very pretty girl, she is slender and still a bit gangly just a year old so we still see some puppy in her. She is quite agile, so she will require a 6fit fence minimum in her backyard. She absolutely loves water & playing in the swimming pool. She isn't one that likes to be picked up in held off the ground, but if you are sitting down he loves to bury her head in your lap. Once she gets her morning 'zoomies' out which only takes a few minutes, she enjoys sun bathing while chewing on a kong, nyla bone, antler or stuffed toy. She especially enjoys going on picnics and taking naps on the picnic blanket after playing in the creed or pond. She is taking to her leash training quite well. She is taking baby steps with comprehending sit, stay & come commands, but we see improvement every day, we do recommend enrolling her in with a trainer to help with her progress.

I require vet references and a home visit. I am an indoor dog with outdoor privileges. All of our dogs are house & crate trained. Homes with fenced in yards are preferred. All our pets are spayed/neutered, and up to date on their shots prior to adoption. Adoption donation is $185 and goes towards the cost of care for this pet and future animals we rescue. Depending on adopter's location transportation fees may apply if the adopter is out of state we use licensed professional transports and their fees range from $150-$185
