My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Cocoa and Killer are a pair of Chihuahua's that would like to (but do not have to be) adopted together. Cocoa is a little shy, but will stand up on her back legs and beg you with her front paws to play with you or sit on your lap! It is very cute! They both love to sit on your lap or cuddle next to you in bed and love you forever. They are not just lap dogs--they are active little pups who love to play with toys.

Before Cocoa and Killer were relinquished by their previous owner, they had a litter of puppies together. They sleep together, play together and even eat together!

Both Killer and Cocoa have been very good with the other dogs in their foster home and there is no aggression in either. They love people! They are a little shy and scared at first, but warm up very quickly. They do not like sudden movements or loud noises, which seem to scare them, so they should go to a home with only older children.

Because these little ones are runners, they MUST have a securely fenced yard. They ended up in 'doggy jail' several times because they will bolt and run if given the opportunity. However, now that they are secure in their foster home, they are doing much better at not bolting out the door.

Their adoption fee together is $360 for the pair, or $225 individually. Adopters must live within 150 miles or 3 hours drive of the Quad City area.
