This is Rocky. He is an adult male Rat Terrier or maybe he is a Smooth Fox Terrier, not really sure. We do think he might be a purebred dog. This nice little guy is the perfect little gentleman. He is mostly white and black as you can see. He is only 16 lbs and our vet says that he is 5 to 6 yrs old. He must have been someone's good dog before as he walks like a perfect gentleman on a leash; stays right by your side. He rides fine in the car. He also knows how to use a dog door and if no dog door, he will whine and let you know he has to go out. He is also crate trained. He ignores cats and he seems to do well with other dogs; even dogs who are smaller than he is. Rocky is the best little fellow. He seems to like everyone he meets; but he seems to especially like men. (From this we infer that his previous owner was a man.) Little Rocky was in a very temporary foster situation and because it was very temporary, (that is how we know so much about him), he is now in an adoptable kennel at the Manteca Animal shelter, no fault of his own. This nice little guy is looking for a loving home.
