My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This is Megan. Megan is a beautiful blue-brindle Italian Mastiff girl with stunning amber eyes, laid back, calm, affectionate, and friendly with people and dogs in all sizes. Our vet thinks that she is 1.5 yrs old and weighs about 90 to 100lbs. We did observe her around cats and she did show some interest in chasing a cat when it ran. An experienced owner might be able to work with her to teach her that cats are off limits, and she does try very hard to please. A meet and greet might tell us better how she might do with your family and your current pets.

Megan walks well on a leash, looking up to you for guidance, wanting to please and do everything right. She also loves to go for a ride and rides well in the car. We think that Megan is also housetrained. She is also crate trained and keeps her crate clean and dry - a dream dog for someone who loves this impressive breed. This pretty girl wants to be with her human and loves any attention you can give her; she wags her little stubby tail when you give her attention. She will also roll on her back for a big belly rub as well. She is watchful and attentive, but not a barker and is eager to learn. Her foster home as been working on some basic obedience commands with her and she already knows how to sit. She is a fast learner. Due to her size, some continued basic obedience training is recommended.

Megan is looking for a family to love. One where she can be a part of as a devoted calm, loyal, and stable family member. She enjoys her walks and her activity level is very moderate. She even seems to enjoy her bath. She has a goofy, silly disposition that will make you laugh.

All in all she is a treasure, drawing attention and admiration wherever she goes, having the potential to be a therapy dog because of her docile and loving nature. Her sweet nature will win your heart.

Megan is looking for a loving home. Megan will be spayed before she is adopted out to her new family; she is current on vaccinations and heartworm negative. She is currently located in Fremont, CA. Her foster parents will consider a long distance adoption for a good home.
