My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Moon is a 7 year old male, neutered, blind Akita. He is neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, house trained, crate trained, and leash trained.

Moon comes to us after his owner passed away. With no known relatives or anyone to care for him, we were contacted by the hospice provider to see if there was any help that could be provided. He is a super sweet boy who spent the last 5 years taking care of his buddy and now he needs someone to take care of him.

Moon is albino, may possibly have been diagnosed with VKH (an auto-immune disorder), and is blind.

We are working to get his medical needs met and under managed care. Once he has been completely vetted and evaluated he will be available for adoption. He loves people and seems unconcerned by other dogs.
