found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.
I am already neutered, up to date with shots, good with dogs, and good with cats.
Bubs has been a delight to have in our home!! He arrived in early October and came to Underdog ResQ as a stray from the metro Boston MA area. He is just a perfect size but at 13 lbs I can still feel a bit too much bone under all that fluff so he could use a couple more pounds on him.
As days have gone by and he has healed from his neuter surgery his energy is up and he is interacting more with our pack. Our “Alpha” dog is an 8.5lb Pom-Chi that has been bossing Bubs around here and there. Bubs has not shown an ounce of aggression or even tried to put him in his place. We have 2 cats and 3 dogs that he has been no bother to at all and as of the past few days he is trying to engage our Pom-chi to play with him. We haven't seen Bubsy with kids yet but think his personality to welcome one. He loves our dogs but doesn't need to live with one.
We leave him out of the crate during the day while we are at work and he has been just fine, no accidents at all. One thing that he is clearly a fan of is WALKS!!! The minute we grab the leash he jumps and barks. Sometimes he will play a little tug and pull when it’s time to go back in the house but it’s never a struggle. Every night is treat time before bed and he is so gentle taking his treat and goes off by himself to eat it. At breakfast and dinner he waits for his food nicely and doesn’t try to barge in on the others. At night he likes to snuggle on the couch while we watch TV. I have brushed him, wiped his eyes, and used baby wipes in his ears with no resistance or complaining.
Bubs is going to make some lucky person or family a wonderful pet. If you would like to adopt Bubs please complete Underdog ResQ's adoption application on http://www.underdogresq.org/AdoptionCenter/AdoptionProcess.asp after reading about the adoption process.
