Yogi Bear's Story...
Yogi Bear was rescued from a rural shelter in Alabama. He was very scared there and immediately showed relief and appreciation when he broke out of there with his foster mom. He is a precious sweet male chihuahua mix that is around 10 lbs and 2 years old. He is housetrained and while he does not live with cats he showed no aggression towards them at the shelter. He is fine with other dogs. He loves to snuggle with his foster mom and chase a ball in the backyard. He is crate trained and sleeps through the night. His adoption fee includes neuter, microchipping, up to date heartworm preventative, and age appropriate vaccines. He is currently being fostered in Huntsville, Alabama but we adopt to many different states. Looking for a small buddy? Why Adoption is a Great Option

Yogi Bear, a Knoxville Chihuahua/Feist dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Feist for sale in Knoxville, or seeking a Chihuahua/Feist dog from a breeder in Knoxville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Knoxville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Knoxville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Feist breeders who help with Chihuahua/Feist rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Knoxville paves the way for another one to be saved.
