Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hello I am Patches, an eight year old gorgeous girl with so much love to give. I love nothing more than cuddling with my foster mom or foster brothers (an eight year old rottie and an eight year old beagle). I sit very nicely for treats and am very gentle taking one from foster mom's hand. I have no feeding aggression even if one of the other dogs comes to my bowl. I previously lived with a two year old who would take my bones away while I was chewing them so I would just go find another one. I also let her pile her toys on top of me while I was sleeping.
I am housebroken, can sit very nicely and I love to be with my people. I sleep in the room with my foster mom. I do not chew or destroy anything in her house. I am not crate trained and just sleep on my bed when she is gone. Even though I am 8 I do love to go for a long walk or run around the fenced in yard. A previous foster home had six cats and I was fearful of the large ones but whined and chased the smaller ones in playful manner. I have never met a rabbit so I don't know how I would be in a house with them.
If you are looking for a forever friend that just wants to cuddle, lick your face and love you I may be the one for you. If you are interested in finding out more about me please fill out an application on our website http://www.brokentailrescue.org/adoption-application.
Patches is being fostered in Leominster.
NOTE: Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label.
