Scooter's Story...
SCOOTER is a sweet 2 year old Corgi mix male who is gentle, loving and fun! He has been vetted, is HW negative and weighs 32 pounds. He is crate trained and lets you know when he needs to go outside. He is eager to please and loves lap time. He is a playful, happy dog from the tip of his handsome snout to the end of his adorable curly tail! If you live in another state, don't let that stand in your way. We will work to transport Scooter if it means he will have a good forever home. If you are another rescue group, we will waive the adoption fee but you can make a donation toward vetting at your discretion. The adoption fee will cover the cost of vetting and neuter.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Scooter, a Union City Corgi dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Corgi for sale in Union City, or seeking a Corgi dog from a breeder in Union City.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Union City already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Union City breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Corgi breeders who help with Corgi rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Union City paves the way for another one to be saved.
