My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This boy is both stunning and extremely nice. Hans is a good looking lab mix. He is about 2 yrs. old and is tall and thin, weighing about 60lbs. Hans is sweet and loving and will do well with a family that has older children. He would also do best in a home with previous dog experience and leadership. Hans gets along good with other dogs but is kind of a booger when food is present, but he is easily redirected with strong leadership. He would be best as the only dog or with a family willing to help work out his food issues with his other canine pals. His foster mom is able to retrieve his food from him with no problem. His food issues seem to be only with other dogs. He is curious about the kitties and would probably chase if the kitty ran, but he is not aggressive. We can further cat test if necessary. Hans is classified as a medium energy dog and is young so will need appropriate lab exercise. He would also benefit from some obedience classes as well. He knows how to sit, but needs help on leash walking (he is a puller) and other obedience skills to make him a perfect gentlemen. He is crate trained and house trained and loves a good compressed rawhide and as many treats has he can possibly confiscate out of his human with his adoring puppy dog eyes (that will melt your heart). Hans is neutered, up to date on all vaccinations, is heartworm negative and micro-chipped. He is kept on frontline and heartguard.
