My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

LUCY is a Boston Bull Terrier who was surrendered when her human's work schedule left no time for Lucy. Lucy was born in December 17, 2012. She is a petite Boston at 19 lb. She has a bit of brindle in her coat, and her tail is undocked, so it forms a cute little corkscrew. She is spayed, fully-vaccinated, de-wormed, heartworm negative, and current on monthly flea, tick and heartworm preventives. Like most Boston's, Lucy is happy, frisky and friendly with everyone. She is not skittish. This dog loves life. She relishes lap time, offers kisses freely and is gentle with her finger nibbles. Lucy enjoys the company of other dogs and plays with gusto. She is crate-trained and will leash-walk, but still needs a bit of practice and polish. She has learned how to use the doggie door to go outside but still has a few accidents. Lucy needs someone who will spend some time with her and delight in who she is. She was locked in a crate for most of her puppyhood, so she would love to have a nice fenced yard where she could run and play. She would flourish in a household where she could be included in family activities, going for car rides and seeing new things. She will be a gift of joy to anyone privileged enough to adopt her.
