Reesee - COURTESY POSTING's Story...
THIS IS A COURTESY POSTING. If interested, contact storkwoods@comcast.net
Who wouldn’t love Reesee? She is a 7 month old Dachshund that comes from a family that cared and loved her. They just couldn’t give her and her sibling the attention they needed. She is currently being fostered in Middle TN and will eventually find the perfect home in the New England area. She is a little shy at first but warms up quickly. She is a lap baby! If you sit down you better make room for her! She is sweet and affectionate and does great with other dogs. Her foster is working on potty training as well. With a little time and love, she will make a fabulous dog! It is our rescue policy to not place a Dachshund in homes with young toddlers or babies. If you would like an adoption application for Reesee, please email storkwoods@comcast.net.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Reesee - COURTESY POSTING, a Milford Dachshund puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund for sale in Milford, or seeking a Dachshund puppy from a breeder in Milford.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Milford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Milford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund breeders who help with Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Milford paves the way for another one to be saved.
