David's Story...
David # 53 is a 2 -year-old male Boxer mix who weighs approximately 65 pounds. He is one of the most loyal, loving, all around GREAT dogs that you will ever meet! He does well with most submissive-type dogs, cats, and children and wins over everyone who meets him. David is crate, leash trained, and housebroken. He would do best in a home with a fenced in backyard where he can play fetch, run, and exert his occasional bursts of high energy. He equally LOVES to curl up next to you on the couch or keep you warm at night while sleeping. A true rescue favorite! If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption form, downloadable from our website: and return it per instructions. Email with questions.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

David, a Waldorf Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer for sale in Waldorf, or seeking a Boxer dog from a breeder in Waldorf.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Waldorf already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Waldorf breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer breeders who help with Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Waldorf paves the way for another one to be saved.
