Samson's Story...
Samson is 99 pounds of HAPPY DOG! He's four years old and has a gentle, cheerful spirit. He loves to roll off the sofa and trot to the toy box for toy shopping. He'll carefully select the BEST toy and bring it back to show you. If you aren't as delighted as he is, he'll bring another and another. He's absolutely adorable. Samson was a house dog and enjoyed being part of a family until his way of life fell apart. Through no fault of his own, he is now without a family and is being kept outdoors. We want to see Samson back in a happy, safe home again. Samson is located in Huntsville, AL. If you'd like to meet him, please email info@FORrescue.net

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Samson, a Marietta Rottweiler/Newfoundland dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rottweiler/Newfoundland for sale in Marietta, or seeking a Rottweiler/Newfoundland dog from a breeder in Marietta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marietta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marietta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rottweiler/Newfoundland breeders who help with Rottweiler/Newfoundland rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marietta paves the way for another one to be saved.
