Foster Family Observations:
This big hearted pup is Riley! He may be shy at first, but give him not even a minute and he will love you for the rest of his life. Riley has strongly improved on his begging and walking skills in the short time he’s been with his foster mom and is also learning his commands very quickly. You might say he’s an overachiever. If you want to spend the day outside, or a lazy day inside, Riley will be up for anything as long as you’re by his side. He is nearly 100% potty trained and has only had a few accidents when he hasn’t been acknowledged right away. He is kennel trained, but will still occasionally whine for a short amount of time. He does not have any food aggression and has done excellent with dogs and cats. Riley is somewhat timid around children initially, so a calm introduction to kids is best. He has not shown aggression towards anything. Do you think Riley could be a great addition to your home? He’s now interviewing families to call his own, so don’t hesitate and fill out an application at www.muttleycrew.org today!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Riley, a Oak Creek Great Dane puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Great Dane for sale in Oak Creek, or seeking a Great Dane puppy from a breeder in Oak Creek.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Oak Creek already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Oak Creek breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Great Dane breeders who help with Great Dane rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Oak Creek paves the way for another one to be saved.
