Bandit's Story...
Bandit is a loveable Alaskan Klee Kai/Siberian Husky mix. He is approx. 4-5 years old and fully vetted and Neutered. He has tested negative for Heart worms and is on monthly preventative. Full of energy and love, he attaches himself to "tween-age" children and women and will be your best friend...He was surrendered to us with his female BFF - Chloe and while it would be nice to keep them together, they can be adopted separately to the right home. Small children seem to make Bandit nervous and he prefers to maintain distance with them...He has been with Chloe for the past 4 years, so he has not been tested with other dogs. Very sweet and affectionate little boy.. If you love the husky, but are looking for a smaller dog-this is your breed. Klee Kais were developed by mixing Siberian and Alaskan Huskies with American Eskimo and Schipperke breeds.
My name is Bandit-a fitting name as I steal and hoard toys....I never had any until I came to my foster home...I also had very little human contact, and no socialization so was pretty indifferent to people....When I first felt a hand stroking my head or back it startled me...I had no idea what petting was all about....And hugs!?! That was so scary to have someone wrap their arms around me.....but now.....I love it so much...I didn't know humans could actually be humane....Would love for Chloe and me to get to go to a forever home.....

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bandit, a Carey Siberian Husky/Husky dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Siberian Husky/Husky for sale in Carey, or seeking a Siberian Husky/Husky dog from a breeder in Carey.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Carey already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Carey breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Siberian Husky/Husky breeders who help with Siberian Husky/Husky rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Carey paves the way for another one to be saved.
