Update 9/26/13: Give a warm welcome to Claire!
Claire is a 2.5 year old terrier-mix that was recently rescued from a local pound. She is residing in one of our foster homes until she finds her 'forever home'.
Claire is SUPER sweet and SUPER friendly! Her favorites things to do are playing with toys and sitting on your lap. She is great with other dogs too!
Claire would make a great addition to many homes. Come visit her. You won't be sorry

While in the care of the Sadie Mae Foundation, all animals are fully vaccinated, heart worm tested and spayed or neutered. Other medical treatments may be provided to our animals, depending upon their specific needs.
In addition, this animal has been microchipped for identification purposes through HomeAgain's® Chip FurKeeps program. Adopters are required to pay the additional one-time,$10.99 microchip registration fee (which lasts the lifetime of the animal) upon adoption.
Info. about Sadie Mae Foundation's adoption process Please note that we do not ship animals or do same-day adoptions. Additionally, we ordinarily limit adoptions to homes within CT or no more than an hour or so drive from Hartford, CT in order to be able to conduct a home visit and provide follow-up assistance when necessary. Exceptions are considered on a case-by-case basis.
We try to make our adoption process as easy and painless as possible, but please understand where we are coming from and all of the work that goes into rescuing and rehoming homeless animals.
